SYNOPSIS: 12XX Foreign Weapons Contract
AGENCY: US SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND
TITLE: 12XX Foreign Weapons Contract
SYNOPSIS: The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) intends to issue a Request For Information (RFI) for Market Research and acquisition planning purposes to purchase various commercial weapons to include U.S. weapons, foreign weapons, body armor, accessories and ammunition based on the individual demands from multiple Contingency Operations (CONOPS). This will be a total small business set-aside. Potential offerors are required to possess a current Directorate Defense Trade Control Brokering License (K license). The Prime shall also hold Federal Firearms Licenses Type 11 Importer of Destructive Devices, Ammunition for Destructive Devices, or Armor Piercing Ammunition. The contractor shall also show performance in the past three years of their ability to support the type requirements identified in the Statement of Work. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; no submissions are requested at this time. The Government is not responsible for any cost incurred related to this notice.
This Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice is for Market Research and acquisition planning purposes. This is not solicitation for quotes/proposals. This is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this RFI. USSOCOM will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI.
