Design & Construction of Babcock Ranch Sustainability & Resiliency Institute

Project Description: Florida Gulf Coast University (University or FGCU) invites the submission of Replies from interested and qualified corporations, partnerships, and other legal entities authorized to do business in the state of Florida for the opportunity to perform design/build services.
The Babcock Ranch Sustainability & Resiliency Institute (Institute) project will be executed through a design/build project delivery methodology to construct a new state-of-the-art facility in the midtown section of Babcock Ranch, located in Charlotte County, Florida. FGCU anticipates a 4-6 story educational facility of up to 125,250 square feet. The Institute will focus on addressing the need for sustainable development and on fostering a resilient, eco-friendly future. The Institute will potentially include some or all of the following elements: Academics, Arts, Laboratory, Classroom or Multi-Purpose Facilities, Professional Development, and Event and Conference Venue(s).
