The Spring Independent School District ("District") requests competitive sealed proposals for the purpose of identifying a vendor(s) to supply Internet Access - Project B (E-Rate) to support the needs of the District, in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications established within this Request for Proposals (RFP).

Proposals are due on or before 12:00 pm (CST) on December 06, 2024 . An award recommendation will be made at the Spring ISD Board of Trustees meeting scheduled on January 14, 2025. If the award recommendation is approved, the initial term of this contract ("Contract") will be for one (1) year from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. Thereafter, the District reserves the right to either renew the contract annually for up to two (2) additional one-year terms ("Renewal Terms") or to extend the contract on a month-to-month basis to prevent a lapse in the contract term until the District re-bids the Contract.

Bidders who respond to this solicitation must be willing to provide internet access based on the E-Rate Program set up by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Spring ISD requests utilization of the Billed Entity Applicant Reimbursement (BEAR) method of payment. Bidders will accept full payment for contracted services from Spring ISD and the school district will file Form 472 with USAC requesting reimbursement for qualified services provided. If you have any questions regarding this program, call the Schools and Libraries Division (SLD) at 1-888-203-8100 or see their website at http://www.usac.org .
