Request for Bid
Summer Food Service
The Town of Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department is currently seeking bids to
provide food service & supplies to Naticook Day Camp during the summer months for the
next 3 years (2026, 2027 & 2028).
Sealed bids will be received by The Town of Merrimack until 2:00PM on Friday,
January 23, 2026 to provide food service and supplies to Naticook Day Camp during the
summer months in accordance with the following conditions.
Food and supply orders will be placed weekly between Mid-June thru Mid-August and
must be delivered by Friday of each week and the facility has a ramp to bring the ordered
items directly into the kitchen.
Enclosed is a list of items that were ordered for the 2025 summer season with the items
universal product code (where applicable), the package size, the quantity in the package,
the item description and the total quantity that was ordered over the course of this past
summer.
The number of participants in the 2026 Day Camp program is expected to be the
approximately the same number as in 2025; however items and quantities purchased may
be different. Comparable brands may be substituted for those identified on the enclosed
list.
Our award will be based on price and the Town’s evaluation of the bidder’s ability to
satisfactorily provide the proposed food service. Therefore, identify on the Bid Form three
current customers, preferably summer camps, to whom food service has been provided for
at least three years.
Each bid shall consist of a completed Bid Form (enclosed) and unit prices for the items on
the list. The Town prefers to purchase all items from one bidder, but reserves the right to
award each item separately unless, in the space provided on the Bid Form for exceptions,
the bid is identified as being “an all-or-none bid”. Therefore, a separate bid shall be
provided on each item, as if that were the only item involved. Unit prices shall exclude
state and federal taxes not applicable to municipalities and shall include delivery to
Wasserman Park Function Hall located at 116 Naticook Rd in Merrimack, New Hampshire.
The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bids, and
to accept the bid which best serves the interest of the Town.
