| Solicitation Document Description: | Toronto Public Health (TPH) requires a dedicated social media and news media monitoring service as a vital communications tool to strengthen trust, transparency and public awareness of its programs and services. In today’s fast-moving digital environment, health information—and misinformation—spreads rapidly, shaping perceptions and behaviors that can directly impact health outcomes. TPH has historically used media monitoring services to effectively track public sentiment, identify misinformation, and inform timely responses, and our current vendor contract is now up for renewal. Continuing this service will allow TPH to proactively identify emerging issues, respond timely to public concerns, and evaluate the reach and effectiveness of its communications. By providing real-time insights and data-driven support, this service remains essential to building trust and ensuring that accurate, transparent health information reaches all Torontonians. |
