| Solicitation Document Description: | The City of Toronto has four Accountability Officers – Auditor General, Integrity Commissioner, Lobbyist Registrar, and Ombudsman. Each Officer conducts in an independent manner the duties and responsibilities of their office and is appointed by and reports to City Council. Section 3-1.7 of Toronto's Municipal Code, Chapter 3, Accountability Officers, requires that "an accountability officer's office shall undergo an annual compliance audit by an external auditor appointed by and reporting to Council. This RFQ is for the supply of all labour, materials and equipment necessary to undertake Compliance Audits of the City of Toronto's Accountability Offices – Office of the Auditor General, Office of the Integrity Commissioner, Office of the Lobbyist Registrar, and Office of the Ombudsman for a five (5) year period for calendar years ending 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2029 (work to be completed in 2026, 2027, 2028, 2029, and 2030). |
