Special Notice Notice of Intent to Modify Contract
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 17, intends to award a firm-fixed priced modification to Propath Services, LLC, to increase the ceiling of IDIQ 36C25726D0033 by $6,000,000.00 and add the Central Texas Veterans Healthcare System to the IDIQ. The increased ceiling will accommodate testing for both the VA North Texas Healthcare System at 4500 S. Lancaster Rd., Dallas, TX 75216, and the Central Texas Veterans Healthcare System at 1901 Veterans Memorial Dr., Temple, TX 76504.
The modification will be made by a pricing agreement with ProPath Services, LLC.
The requesting activity states due to a lack of testing availability under a national contract and an immediate need for testing, and to comply with Executive Orders to consolidate requirements and further the President s goals to restore common sense to federal contracting and reduce wasteful spending, the testing for the Central Texas Veterans Healthcare System is requested to be added to 36C25726D0033.
This notice is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. A modification or new contract award will not be awarded based on an offer received in response to this notice; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals or offers received will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the government. If no affirmative written response is received within four (4) days from the publication of this notice, a modification will be issued to Propath Services, LLC, without any further notice.
The anticipated statutory authority permitting this change is FAR 52.212-4(d), Changes.
