The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC/WL), C-130 Hercules Division (AFLCMC/WLN), C-130J Sustainment Branch (AFLCMC/WLNC) located at Robins Air Force Base (AFB), GA is seeking Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for C-130J peculiar aircraft components and mission specific systems line replaceable units (LRUs). Items that are common to other C-130 platforms are stock listed and managed through the organic Air Force (AF) material management IT systems. The C-130J aircraft is a commercial aircraft developed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Lockheed Martin Aeronautics (LMA).
The Contractor will be required to provide program management support, material management, sustaining engineering, sustaining logistics, depot activation support, programmed depot maintenance support, product improvements, cyber security compliance, conditioned based maintenance plus (CBM+), repair and spares purchases of LMA managed F06 ( warehouse/supply point) items, and field service engineering support. This effort will include requirements for other U.S. Government (USG) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) C-130J customers as required. As of October, 2024 there are 299 fielded C-130J aircraft, comprised of six (6) Mission Design Series (MDSs), located at twenty-three (23) bases worldwide.
The REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) is being issued for Market Research Revalidation ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), NOR IS IT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the requesting party to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals nor quotes. This RFI will not result in a contract award. The Government will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI. This FedBizOps sources sought notice is strictly for market research revalidation. Acknowledgment of receipt of response will not be made, nor will respondents be notified of Government's evaluation of the information received. As a result of this RFI, the Government may issue an RFP; however, should such requirements materialize, no basis for claims against the Government shall arise resulting from any response to the RFI (e.g., use of such information as either part of its evaluation process or in developing specifications for any subsequent requirement).
