The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) by the City of Harrisonburg, Virginia (City) is to solicit sealed bids from interested vendors (Bidder) to construct the University Blvd. Extension Project (Project).The project entails enhancements to Forest Hill Drive, from Port Republic Road to University Blvd., including the addition of a shared-use path. It also involves relocating University Blvd. between Forest Hill Drive and James Madison Universityâs (JMU's) Convocation Center, which will feature a two-lane roadway, shared-use path,sidewalks, and utility infrastructure. Additionally, a shared-use path will be constructed between JMU's Convocation Center and Carrier Drive along University Blvd.
