INVITATION FOR BIDS - Madison County Loader Purchase
Madison County is accepting sealed bids for the purchase of one (l) loader for use in county operations, including road maintenance and material handling. Bidders must meet or exceed the County's minimum specifications, which include:

165 horsepower minimum

3.75 cubic yard bucket or larger

13-foot bucket pin height minimum

3,500 operating hours or less (if used)

28,000 lb. breakout force minimum

80% minimum tire life

Hydraulic quick coupler with bucket and forks

Ride control

Enclosed cab with heat and A/C

Block heater, master electrical shutoff, beacon/strobe, reverse alarm

AMFM stereo, 12V plug, 24V to 12V converter, and two-way radio ready

Deadline for bid submission is 5:00 p.m. on August 4, 2025. Late or emailed bids will not be considered.
Bids will be opened and read aloud on August 5, 2025, during the Regular Commission meeting in the Public Meeting Room of the Administrative Building, located at 103 W. Wallace, Virginia City, MT.
Madison County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive inforrnalities, and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the County.

Preferences for resident bidders will be given in accordance to Montana Code Annotated 1-102. Madison County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
