This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-03.



The U.S. Coast Guard Base Ketchikan requires ultrasonic testing of CGC PIKE's hull plating using side-scan technology, in accordance with the attached Statement of Work.The service involves measuring hull plating thickness to assess corrosion and identify potential repair areas. Deliverables include inspection data, marked drawings, digital photographs, and formatted electronic files.



Work shall be performed on or about 23–27 June 2025 at USCG Base Ketchikan, 1300 Stedman Street, Ketchikan, AK 99901



Quotes shall include:





  • UEI and CAGE Code




  • Business Size/Status under NAICS 541990




  • Firm-fixed-price quote




  • Confirmation of compliance with Statement of Work




  • Examples of past performance involving similar hull inspection or NDT services




  • Statement confirming availability during the tentative date





A single firm-fixed-price contract line item will be awarded. Evaluation will be conducted using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis.
