This notice is for Request for Quote Number 36C24225Q0368 PLAYGROUND FENCE REPAIR at Brooklyn VA Medical Center, New York Harbor Healthcare System Brooklyn located at 800 Poly Place Brooklyn, NY 11209.

This project will be 100% Set-Aside to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business
(SDVOSB). Competition for this procurement is restricted to verified SBA Cert
SERVICE- DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) Contractors.
The SDVOSB must be a small business under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in https://veterans.certify.sba.gov.

The NAICS code for this procurement is 238290 Other Building Equipment Contractors with a Size Standard of $22 million IAW VAAR 852.219-10 the VetCert (formerly VIP listed) SDVOSB.

SCOPE OF WORK:
DAYCARE PLAYGROUND FENCE REPAIR
NY HARBOR (NYH) HEALTHCARE SYSTEM
BROOKLYN CAMPUS

Scope of Work The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, and tools required to perform tasks for the Daycare playground fence repair at the Brooklyn Campus of the NY Harbor Healthcare System, Department of Veterans Affairs.

Contractor shall furnish all parts and labor to accomplish repairing the existing fence of the daycare playground.

Contractor will make sure that proper supervision is needed for repairing of the existing fence.
Welding braces to existing perimeter fence post. Re-connect fence rails and mesh new posts along with re-tying existing fence.

One year guarantee on all work performed.

PROJECT COMPLETION: Contractor to start immediately after receiving the Notice to
Proceed and complete required work in 30 calendar days.

Prospective contractors must be registered and certified online with SBA VetCert
https://veterans.certify.sba.gov and must be registered at https://www.sam.gov in
accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 to be eligible for award. A site visit will be held for this project and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
Details of the site visit will be included in the RFQ document. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on/about March 5th, 2025. All interested parties (subs & primes) should register for a user account which lets you save searches, follow changes to opportunities, and join interested vendor lists and verified as a SDVOSB in Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov) at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement.
