The Indian Health Service, Gallup Service Unit (GSU), located in Gallup Indian Medical Center, New Mexico 87301 intends to negotiate a sole source award with Industrial Water Engineering, Inc for Water Treatment services for various boilers and water systems within the Gallup hospital. The North American Industry Classification System or NAICS code is 325998 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees.

Period of Performance is date of award through 12 months.

In accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), for purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) Contracting Officers may solicit from only one source if the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization). Industrial Water Engineering, Inc. currently provides water treatment services to accomplish the mission objective of providing maintenance and testing methods for direct patient care.

This notice of intent is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the notice of intent. Any potential sources other than Industrial Water Engineering Inc. may submit a capability statement via electronic email by 2:00 PM MDT on February 19, 2025. Any other form of communication will not be considered. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition or proceed with a single-source award.
