School Crossing Guard Services

The City of North Miami Beach (“City”) is seeking a qualified firm to provide school crossing guard services when and where needed throughout the City. The Bidder shall be expected to provide school crossing guards at the locations specified by the City and at the times when students are traveling to and from school, and shall be completely responsible for the supervision of such personnel in accordance with the contract specifications, terms and conditions, and shall exercise exclusive control over such personnel employed by them to fulfill the requirements of the contract.

The importance of school crossing guard services lies in their essential role in protecting children and promoting safe travel to and from school. Crossing guards ensure children cross streets safely, especially in areas with heavy traffic or poor visibility.

Bids shall be considered only from firms that have been continuously engaged in providing school crossing guard services similar to those specified herein for a reasonable period and that are presently engaged in the provision of these services. Contract(s) will be awarded only to responsible and responsive Bidder(s) qualified by experience to do the work specified.
