Project Description: Seeking Bus preventive maintenance filters for Charlotte Area Transit Systems
CATS is currently operating 20 battery electric buses (BEB). The BEB pilot program supports City of Charlotte council’s Strategic Action Plan and Sustainable and Resilient Fleet Policies that strive for all fleet vehicles to be sources from zero carbon sources by 2030.
CATS maintains a dual focus of managing and continually improving day-to-day operations of transit services within a five-county area while advancing planning for a regional rapid transit system. CATS has a bus fleet of 258 buses, 85 paratransit vehicles and 42 rail cars.
