005-27 Tree & Brush Power Shearing, Trimming, Mulching & Removal Services

The purpose of this bid solicitation is to establish contracts with qualified bidders for Tree & Brush Power Shearing, Trimming, Mulching and Removal Services in accordance with the attached specifications and ODOT’s Standard Terms and Conditions. Work to be performed consists of trimming the side and top of trees and brush encroaching along the roadside of the roadway and/or shoulder and complete removal of the tree and stump in some cases. Work may also include the removal of dead or damaged tree limbs and trunks to eliminate hazardous conditions, and mulching and chipping of debris in place.
The contract is multiple award and does not constitute any guarantees for either a minimum or maximum amount of work to be perform.
NOTE TO VENDORS: This work may have environmental regulatory restrictions. The District Environmental Coordinator or Transportation Manager will provide a list of conditions for each site that the Vendor must follow.
NOTE TO ODOT USERS: For each individual work location, follow the appropriate environmental requirements which can be found in either the Highway Operations Environmental Checklist or the NEPA document prior to contacting the Vendor; as needed contact the District Environmental Coordinator prior to contacting the Vendor.
