Bureau of Wildlife Staff Conference

The Department of Environmental Conservation’s (DEC or Department) Bureau of Wildlife is seeking a venue to host its 2025 Bureau of Wildlife Staff Conference. The three-day conference includes two half-days and one full day (two overnights). Meals include two breakfasts, four breaks, three lunches, and two dinners for the three days and two nights. Audio-visual equipment will be provided by the conference facility. Meals and lodging will be provided on-site. Meeting content will include updating staff on on-going research and management initiatives, wildlife-related policies, and technical training. DEC will request bids from conference facilities and the lowest bid meeting the necessary specifications will be selected. DEC will ensure that their meetings and events are as sustainable as possible and will consider LEED certification and Green NY Specification in the selection process.

Pursuant to the State Finance Law Sections 139-j and 139-k, this RFQ
includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between a
Governmental Entity and a Potential Proposer during the procurement

Quoters shall adhere to the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation guidelines regarding permissible contacts during a procurement and the prohibition of inappropriate lobbying influence.
