Rocky View County

Rocky View County, on behalf of itself and the City of Calgary, is seeking an Engagement Consultant to provide engagement services in support of the Intermunicipal Development Plan (IDP) update. The engagement consultant will be responsible solely for the planning, preparation, execution, and reporting of all public and interested party engagement activities that inform the IDP. The contract for engagement activities will be awarded on a lump-sum basis.
Engagement services shall be a continuous responsibility of the successful Engagement Consultant throughout the project. The Engagement Consultant shall designate an Engagement Lead who will be responsible for overall coordination, scheduling, delivery of engagement activities, reporting, and quality assurance related to public and interested parties’ engagement.
The Engagement Lead shall serve as the primary point of contact for engagement related matters and shall be responsible for:
•Coordinating engagement activities in alignment with the approved work plan and project schedule;
•Ensuring engagement activities and materials are delivered in a timely and professional manner;
•Overseeing engagement facilitators and supporting staff, including managing public inquiries;
•Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and clarity of engagement reporting and “What We Heard” materials; and
•Coordinating with the Project Team to ensure engagement outputs are effectively integrated into the broader IDP process.
