Description

Synopsis: Repair HVAC Base-wide - SOURCES SOUGHT.

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this requirement including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. The Tennessee Air National Guard, Memphis ANG Base, Memphis, TN has been tasked to replace facility boilers and compressors in four (4) buildings as specified in the Statement of Work. Repair facilities B2890, B4625, 2886, and B2860 conditioned space by replacing the existing units; Replace 75 pounds worth of failing R-22 Compressors with high efficiency non-ozone depleting HVAC units in those same facilities. Each compressor and associated equipment shall include a new fan coil unit, associated copper piping, thermo-expansion values, solenoids, a new 2-inch insulated copper drain line including new insulation for all installed copper lines. Install required and proper amount of refrigerant, to properly charge and operate the system. In each building replace two boilers which include replacement of two circulating pumps, two motor starters for the pumps, two flow switches, four isolation valves, replace insulation to match existing insulation, two solenoid valves, six temperatures gauges and five pressure gauges. After installing the boiler, ensure that the system maintains a 35% glycol mix.





Proposed project will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The type of solicitation issued will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of the Small Business Community to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price Contract. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a quote as a prime contractor no later than 16 Dec 2024, 12:00 P.M. EST. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include a signed Sources Sought Information Request Form (attached to this posting). In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
