The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, is seeking business sources for a supply requirement entitled: "Dworshak Dam Medium Voltage Gas-Insulated Switchgear" for award of a base contract. This is scheduled to be issued as a Firm Fixed Price Supply Contract with associated start-up commissioning services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 335313.
This sources-sought announcement is a tool to identify businesses with the capability to accomplish the work. This is not a solicitation. Only those firms who respond to this announcement by submitting the following information will be used in determining whether to set aside this requirement.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS:
(1) Your intent to submit a quote for this project when it is formally advertised.
(2) Name of firm with address, phone and point of contact.
(3) CAGE Code, UEI number or a copy of your System for Award Management (SAM) information.
(4) Can your company provide the required items within the technical specifications? If so, please provide a specifications sheet of the items you have that meets the characteristics.
(5) What is the fastest delivery time after award your company could provide these items and commissioning services?
(6) Will your company be completing the on-site testing/commissioning services for this requirement? If not your company, then who?
(7) Is warranty included? If so, how long? As the technical specifications include on-site start-up commissioning, will the warranty extend 12 months once the commissioning is complete?
(8) Please provide a statement on the approximate percentage of work expected to be subcontracted for these services and identify the subcontractors, if applicable.
(9) Does your company offer this same, similar, or modified product, parts, and associated services to the commercial marketplace?
(10) Please provide feedback on the attached Technical Specifications. Does your firm have any comments or suggestions that you would like to share with the Government? The tech specs are subject to change.
