Project Description: The project is for the construction of a 1.41-mile section of the Enola Low Grade Trail (a multi-use recreation trail) located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Work includes the re-decking of a three-span built-up riveted steel girder bridge, development of a shared driveway, installation of E&SPC and PCSM controls, and placement of signing and pavement markings.
A separate contract, “Enola Low Grade Trail Lamparter Trailhead”, will be issued for items related to the trailhead construction and function. The trailhead scope of work is limited to the parking lot/driveway tied to Trailhead Survey & Construction Centerline, SCM002 and its outfall, landscaping, grading, E&SPC controls, sign and pavement markings, and other items necessary to provide a compete project. Bidders are encouraged to submit proposals on both contracts.
Notice-to-Proceed is anticipated to be provided on or about December 8, 2025 with all work being completed by June 26, 2026.
