Description
The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to establish a contract for the purchase and installation of emergency equipment for (12) Chevrolet Tahoe PPV vehicles that will be assigned to the patrol division. The Douglasville Police Department utilizes specific equipment in the patrol vehicles to maintain uniformity, connectivity, and interchangeability throughout the fleet. This equipment is manufactured by Whelen Manufacturing, Havis, Inc., Pro-Gard and Westin. Vehicle upfitters who sell and install these brands and have installation locations within a seventy (70) mile radius are utilized.
