Project Description: Issuing Procurement Unit: State of Utah Division of Purchasing
Conducting Procurement Unit: Department of Natural Resources- Fire & State Lands
Participation in this solicitation is limited to prequalified contractors only. Do NOT submit if you are not on the current Pre-approved/Pre-qualified Vendor list.
The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract to provide: Wildland fire hazardous fuels reduction by hand cutting/stacking live and dead Pinyon Pine, Juniper trees. shrubs, and saplings on approximately 32 acres of the Red Canyon area west of Cedar City, UT.
Mandatory Site Visit: A site visit will NOT be held prior to bidding. It is strongly recommended that each potential bidder inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
It is anticipated that this IFB will result in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor.
Project Performance Time: From Notice-to-proceed until December 31st, 2025.
Due to possible fire restrictions, if awarded the contractor must be aware of the current fire restriction status during the performance
window.
Vendor must guarantee its pricing through completion of the project.
