out the duties of the City through transparent civic engagement and by providing the very
best customer service to our citizens.
The purpose of this request is to provide staff support to the Planning and Development
department with the City of Raleigh. Planning and Development is responsible for
planning and visioning for the future growth of Raleigh and permitting and inspections
for residential and non-residential development projects. The department is also
responsible for making sure that projects are conforming to the Unified Development
Ordinance and meet all other zoning requirements.
