The U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service requires a contract to provide repairs / construction of the LaMina Trail in the El Yunque National Forest, Puerto Rico. This work will include the repairs of the trails and bridge structures to include abutments outlined in the forthcoming solicitation. Proposers shall have the ability to complete design requirement either in-house or partnering with a design firm. Construction of the project shall be phased to allow for useability of the trails that have been closed for years.
The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310 – Highway, Street and Bridge Construction Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the size standard is $45,000,000.00. The Magnitude of Construction of this project IAW FAR 36.204 is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about 18 June 2025.
The proposal due date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc) will be provided. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored.
This solicitation is RESTRICTED to 8A Contractors. See FAR 19.805 for further information.
