The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive informal written quotes from qualified vendors
for the Purchase of E911 Chairs for the Gwinnett County Department of Police Services.
Quotes should be typed or submitted in ink and returned to the Attention of Chelsey Ward, Purchasing Associate III.
Quotes should be received by 3:00 P.M. August 31, 2026 via email at Chelsey.Ward@GwinnettCounty.com, by fax
(770-822-8735), or sent to the Gwinnett County Financial Services - Purchasing Division - 2nd Floor, 75 Langley Drive,
Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046.

are legal and binding upon the bidder when submitted.

The written Quote documents supersede any verbal or written prior communications between the parties.
Award will be made to the vendor submitting the lowest responsive and responsible Quote. Gwinnett County reserves
the right to reject any or all Quotes, to waive technicalities, and to make an award deemed in its best interest. Quotes
may be split or awarded in entirety. Gwinnett County reserves the option to negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing
with the lowest responsive, responsible bidder(s) at its discretion.

Specifications and Requirements
I. Scope of Work
The Gwinnett County Department of Police Services is requesting quotes for replacement chairs to
include: delivery, assembly, setup, and removal of replaced chairs for the Department of Police Services.
Vendor must deliver, assemble, and setup new chairs as well as remove and dispose of old chairs.

Unit price MUST include all fees, including but not limited to installation and removal.
II. Requirements:
A. Vendor will be required to obtain a Gwinnett County ID for access to the buildings. All work for this project
can be completed Monday-Friday 7:00-4:00. Any exceptions must be coordinated with the Police Department
liaison.
B. The winning vendor will be responsible for removing old equipment that is being replaced. The number of
chairs being removed is listed in the Bid Schedule. Vendor should coordinate with the Police Department
liaison for clarification.
C. The use of brand name is not for restrictive purposes or to limit competition, but to assist vendors in
determining the standard of quality Gwinnett County is seeking. It is understood that items matching or
exceeding the quality level are also acceptable. Gwinnett County shall be the sole determinant of
acceptability of all approved equivalents. It is the vendor's responsibility to prove equivalent products
match or exceed the quality level of the product(s) specified.
D. If product differs from description above, vendor should supply specifications/cut sheets for the product
being quoted prior to award.
E. Samples may be requested from vendors to determine equivalency. Samples should be furnished at the
vendor's expense within seven (7) business days. Failure to provide samples, when required, may result
in rejection of bid. Upon vendor's request, samples not destroyed in testing may be returned at the
vendor's expense.
III. Specifications

accommodate continuous use by multiple users in a high demand setting such as a 911 center, control
room, or emergency operations center.

IV. Warranty

V. Award
Gwinnett County reserves the right to award this bid by item, section, and/or to the overall lowest responsive and
responsible vendor bidding the majority of items.
VI. Delivery
A. Delivery and installation must be pre-scheduled, contact information will be provided on purchase order
to successful vendor. Entire Project must be completed no later than November 1, 2026.
