St. Vincent de Paul Rehabilitation Project

Project Description: Hillsborough County intends to recommend the award of a noncompetitive procurement agreement between Hillsborough County, Florida, Vincentian Properties, Inc., “Owner” , a Florida Not for Profit Corporation and Society of St. Vincent de Paul South Pinellas, Inc., “Project Sponsor”, a Florida Not for Profit Corporation, to fund the rehabilitation and reconstruction of six (6) multifamily townhomes and shelters under the State Housing initiatives Partnership Program (SHIP) in an amount not to exceed $4,435,225.00. This Agreement (with Florida Not for Profit Corporations) is being recommended in accordance with Section 3-208[1] [bb] of the County’s Procurement Policy because this rehabilitation project will support and address urgent need for housing and support services for veterans and reduces the homeless population in the County by providing safe, stable housing and wrap around services for persons that are considered chronically homeless in the community. The County reserves the right to extend the time period further, adjust the scope of services in response to changing conditions and updated requirements, and increase the resulting award accordingly.
Contractors who believe that they can provide goods and/or services that are substantially and materially the same as those identified in the attached [order form, agreement, etc.] must submit clear and convincing information to support a challenge the intended award. Challenges to this notice must be received no later than the Close Date of the Sole Source (SS) Project. After this date, an award will be made.
