Overview

Summary

The City of New Haven’s Parks Department (PARKS) in partnership with the Community Services Administration, including Youth and Recreation Department (YARD) is seeking New Haven based non-profit organizations to provide programming that focuses primarily on youth, and in addition all ages, for the enrichment of New Haven.

Applicant Programs are encouraged to facilitate learning opportunities within a fun and positive atmosphere. Examples of recreational/educational activities are inclusive of but not limited to:

Education
Environment & Nature
Arts and Culture
Fitness, Health & Wellness

Background

The goal of this Request for Proposals is to provide new opportunities for youth to learn and to provide meaningful activities that can be facilitated in the form of educational after-school programming, weekend programming and other positive activation uses located at the facility itself and its general surrounding area in the park.
