Contract 2025-05 – South Perkasie Covered Bridge: Timber Superstructure
Project ScopeRehabilitation and relocation of the timber superstructure of the historic South Perkasie Covered Bridge located in Lenape Park.
Work must adhere to:
Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties
Applicable FHWA, AASHTO, and PennDOT design and safety standards

Cost: Documents available free of charge
Fee to Awarded Bidder: 0.33% of bid amount (capped at $6,000), charged by PennBid™
Bid Security: Bid Bond or Certified Check for 5% of bid amount (payable to Borough of Perkasie)

Performance Bond: 100% of contract amount
Payment Bond: 100% of contract amount
Maintenance Bond: Format and surety subject to Borough approval
