Overview
Summary

Pierce County is seeking proposals that would cover design, purchasing, installation, upgrades, repairs and improvements, as well as a comprehensive maintenance program for the entire system as outlined above. The contractor must be able to support each of these aspects in a timely, responsive manner, and the proposal must specifically address all key areas. Areas of work include jail locations, sheriff locations, sensitive high-risk locations, critical infrastructure, park's locations, courthouse, exterior spaces, airports, ferry terminals and other buildings/locations throughout Pierce County.

The county will award to a single proposer and will enter into two contracts with that awarded proposer.

Background

Pierce County Security Program manages a complex, comprehensive, integrated Physical Access Control (PAC) system, CCTV/VMS system, integrated Stentofon video phone system, and an integrated BOSCH intrusion detection system (IDS) for many complexes, buildings and locations throughout Pierce County. In addition, Pierce County utilizes SENSTAR products for security purposes and will continue to utilize this system for security purposes.
