Description

Synopsis



The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price type contract to TSI, Inc. and will utilize the procedures of FAR Part 12, “Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services.” Requirement is Sole Source becauseTSI, Inc. is the sole manufacturer/distributor of the required PortaCount Model 8048-T Respirator Fit Testing Machines. The required PortaCount Testing Kits are required by Navy Region Mid-Atlantic used to objectively measure how well a respirator, such as an N95, SCBA, or gas mask fits an individual’s face ensuring the maximum designed respiratory protection in hazardous environments. Delivery is FOB Destination and is required not later than 30 days after contract award; Delivery Location is Great Lakes, IL. Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. The Government will conduct an acceptance inspection at the point of delivery. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811310 with a size standard of 12.5 millions of dollars A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 31 July 2026 by downloading the documents at the System for Award Management (SAM) Website as follows: http://sam.gov. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. By submission of a quote, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
