The Federal Protective Service Acquisitions Division (FPSAD) intends to issue a sole source extension for a period up to four (4) months on the current contract, 70RFP318DE3000003, with Universal Protection Service, Limited Partnership doing business as Allied Universal Security Services (161 Washington Street, Suite 600 Conshohocken, PA 19428-2083). The current contract is set to expire on September 30, 2025.
The proposed extension provides continued Protective Security Officer (PSO) services through the West Virginia Panhandle for the period of performance from October 1, 2025 through January 31, 2026. This extension allows for the necessary time to award and transition the follow-on effort for these services.
The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Allied Universal Security Services under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other service will satisfy agency requirements.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A Request For Proposals (RFP) will not be made available. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition will be posted to Sam.gov following the award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561612 (Security Guards and Patrol Services) and the small business size is $29 million.
