o Powered by a gasoline combustion motor with an electronic fuel injection
(EFI)

o Engine Noise Level: Not to exceed 65 decibels while idling

o Fuel Efficiency: Minimum of 40 miles per gallon

o Cooling system: Air-cooled engine

o Starting system: starter-generator activated by accelerator pedal

o Maximum Forward Speed: 19.0 miles per hour

o Drive configuration: 2x4, rear-wheel drive

o Seat capacity: Minimum of two (2) occupants

o Color: Manufacturer’s standard white

Special Instructions

Please note: The University of Hawaii (“UH”) is required to comply with Hawaii Revised
Statutes (“HRS”) Chapter 103D, Hawaii Public Procurement Code. Specifically, under HRS
103D-310(c), UH must verify vendor compliance with all laws governing entities doing
business in the State. Complying with HRS 103D-310(c) involves obtaining the vendor\'s
Certificate of Vendor Compliance, which may be obtained via Hawaii Compliance Express
(HCE). Information and requirements for the certificate can be found at the HCE website:

Any of the following may be grounds for disqualification:

1. Taking exception to any of the specifications, terms or conditions contained in
the RFQ.

2. Placing conditions on the furnishing of solicited goods or services.

3. Inclusion of a quotation or order form containing additional specifications, terms
or conditions.

4. Referencing external documents containing additional specifications, terms or
conditions.

Award will be made in aggregate; please do not provide partial bids.

Quantities are subject to change

Quotes must be for new models only. Do not provide quotes on refurbished models.

Delivery date: 60 DAYS ARO

VendoraEURtms bid must be inclusive of all delivery charges and applicable taxes. All
prices
are f.o.b. (free on board), destination, including all applicable taxes.

New Utility Carts shall be delivered to Kapi’olani Community College, Olopua Building,
4303 Diamond Head Road, Honolulu, HI 96816.

Delivery shall be provided during business hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm,
excluding holidays. Please contact Jameson Ramelb to coordinate delivery and drop-off
location.

Site inspection to the Utility Carts exterior and interior condition; compliance with
specifications will be performed at the time of the delivery.
