Summary Details
The purpose of this RFP is to secure the services of a Contractor that will conduct an independent study, under the authority of section 42 of the Police Act (the Act) on the financial, operational effectiveness, and governance, of E-Comm Emergency Communications for British Columbia Incorporated (“E-Comm”) and 911 service provision. This includes recommendations to inform sustainable funding model(s), and the establishment of a B.C. 911 service delivery model, including regulatory authority and standards.
The initial term of the Contract is expected to begin in or around February 2025, with an anticipated initial term of five (5) months or less (the “Initial Term”). The initial term of the Contract may be extended by up to two (2) possible extensions of up to three (3) months, for a total possible Contract Term of eleven (11) months.
