Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound intends to issue a sole source award to Fairabanks Morse Defense for the repalcement of various connection rod ends for their SSDG engine on board US Navy Vessel; Replacement is to include technicain support on site. This procurement will utilizing FAR Part 12 and 13.5 procedures. It is anticipated that a commercial, Firm Fixed-price Supply Contract will be awarded.
Solicitation N0040625RS018 and its sole source justification will be posted to the sam.gov website on or before 19 August 2025, with the proposals due on or about 25 August 2025. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System Award Management (SAM) database prior to submitting their offer, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award. Vendors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/SAM.
