This addendum modifies the original Solicitation Documents for the Project
dated June 15, 2026 (Specifications/Drawings). The items in this addendum shall
govern the work, taking precedence over previously issued drawings governing the
items mentioned.
Acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in the space provided on the Sealed Bid
Form.
A. CHANGES TO AND CLARIFICATIONS OF DRAWINGS:
The following drawings are revised for the project identified as ITB 25FAC0017 -

included with this Addendum for reference. The bidopening date was subsequently
revised by Addendum No. 1
Bidders Questions are numbered and in black. The Answers are in red.:
1. Question: What is the budget for this project?
Answer: The construction estimate is $440,000.00.
2. Question: Will this project be completed during the 2026 school year?
Answer: Completion during the 2026 school year remains an
estimate/projection. The decision will be made by the OPSB.
Construction may commence when the NTP has been issued for the
selected bidder. Currently page 6 of the Project Manual establishes the
Completion Time as One Hundred Twenty (120) consecutive calendar
days from the Notice to Proceed. This addendum shall revise the
completion time to (6) six months after Notice to Proceed.
3. Question: Should we exclude any mechanical and/or electrical work
that may be required as a result of the door replacements?
Answer: At this time there is no anticipated mechanical work required
for the completion of the project scope. Yes security systems shall be
adjusted. There is electrical wiring required for the security door, when
the Security Guards at the school buzz visitors in the door from their
desk. This wiring may need to be adjusted.
4. Question: Can you confirm the total length of railing to be installed?
Answer: We did a quick tally, but these numbers are not to be used in
lieu of the bidder's own tally of what we show in the construction
documents. 36" handrailing: 169'0", 42" guard railing:160'4.1/2".
5. Question: Is an Electronic bid submittal permitted?
Answer: No. Electronic bid submissions are not permitted. Pursuant to
Article 5, Section 5.3.4 of the Instructions to Bidders, oral, electronic,
telephonic, or telegraphic bids are invalid and shall not receive
consideration.
