Description
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of West Kelowna (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the Old Okanagan Hwy and Butt Road Improvements Construction Servicesas further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).
The City of West Kelowna is undertaking a project to reduce traffic congestion at the intersection of Butt Road and Old Okanagan Highway. The project involves adding turning lanes, widening the road, and replacing old mains. The targeted completion date for substantial performance is October 15, 2025, with paving to be completed by October 31, 2025. Key tasks include asphalt removal, utility relocations, lighting, signage, line painting, retaining wall work, watermain installation, drainage improvements, and the installation of traffic signals.
