Description


Purpose of Procurement
Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) is being issued to establish a contract with one or more qualified suppliers who will provide HVAC Equipment, Parts, & Supplies to Georgia Southern University by and behalf the University System of Georgia (hereinafter, the State Entity) as further described in this eRFQ.  This RFQ will be awarded to multiple suppliers that are able to meet and agree to the requirements addressed in this bid.  This contract would be for One (1) Year with Four (4) Optional one year renewals.  This contract would begin as soon as we are able to award and contracts are fully executed after the protest period.  Responding to this bid the supplier understands there is no guarantee of the amount of spend or orders we will place with them.  The awarded suppliers will be established so Georgia Southern University can reach out for quotes and to make purchases on an as needed basis to remain in compliance with state regulations.
The resulting contract will be available for use by other State of Georgia Institutions, Colleges, Universities, or other Georgia State Agencies upon approval of the awarded suppliers, the University System of Georgia (USG), and the Department of Adminstrative Services (DOAS).
Georgia Southern University's intent is to have the abilitiy to purchase any HVAC items suppliers offer as well as placing special orders for non-stock items as needed.  We are seeking percentage off list price that you can offer.  Any discounts and warranty options will be advised at the time a quote is issued.  All equipment must be new, commercial grade, and not refurbished or recycled.
Overview of the eRFQ Process
The objective of the eRFQ is to select multiple qualified suppliers to provide the goods outlined in this eRFQ to the State Entity.  This eRFQ process will be conducted to gather and evaluate responses from supplier for potential award.  All qualified suppliers are invited to participate by submitting responses, as further defined below.  After evaluating all supp
