  • Summary The Central County Transportation Authority, herein after “Metro” seeks seeks bids for ADA Compliance Modifications & Bathroom Upgrades at Kalamazoo Transportation Center.

MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING January 08, 2025, @ 10:00 a.m. Local Time

Metro Transit Board Room, 530 N. Rose Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49007

  1. SCOPE
  • Removal and replacement of the portions of the exterior plaza brick paver system to re-level/modify slopes for areas of shifting and settling pavers to meet ADA Guidelines for access to doors and sidewalks
  • Remove full height mirrors from restrooms
  • Remove/retrofitting/replacement of select portions of the Men’s and Women’s restrooms for specific renovations for ADA compliance, includes accessories, partitions, toilets, countertops, sinks, finishes, and lighting
  • Installation of new ADA restroom signage

Alternate: Installation of a barrier free curb ramp at the drop off drive from Kalamazoo Ave.
