Description

Columbus Water Works operates the existing SCWRF, that has a current hydraulic capacity of 84
million gallons per day (MGD) and a treatment capacity of 42 MGD. Based on flow projections the
existing SCWRF will exceed the treatment capacity in 2039 and will exceed the hydraulic capacity in
2034. The existing plant is approaching the end of its useful life without considerable rehabilitation.
Thus, CWW has decided to construct a new wastewater treatment plant with increased hydraulic
capacity and treatment capacity.
The scope of services being solicited under this Request for Proposal include pre-construction
consultation and construction of the new South Columbus Water Resource Facility adjacent to the
existing facility.
