1. Purpose
The City of Junction City is requesting proposals and quotations from qualified
audiovisual vendors for the design, procurement, delivery, installation, configuration,
and testing of a rear projection system for use in the City's Municipal Gymnasium.

The City of Junction City is requesting proposals and quotations from qualified
audiovisual vendors for the design, procurement, delivery, installation, configuration,
and testing of a rear projection system for use in the City's Municipal Gymnasium.
The proposed system shall include, at minimum:

* Protective rack, enclosure, or mounting solution for the projector

* Integration with the City's existing audio system
* User controls
* Training and documentation
* Warranty and support

The selected vendor shall provide a complete turnkey solution including all labor,
materials, equipment, configuration, programming, testing, and documentation
necessary for a fully functional rear projection system.
4.1 Design and Field Verification
Vendor shall:
* Conduct a site visit prior to final design.
* Verify actual stage depth, curtain clearance, screen placement, ceiling height,
wall construction, power availability, and cable routes.
* Confirm final screen size and mounting location.
* Confirm final projector placement, lens throw ratio, vertical offset, and horizontal
alignment.
* Use manufacturer projection calculators to verify projector/lens/screen
compatibility.
* Identify any required electrical work, structural work, lift access, or City-provided
preparation.
4.2 Rear Projection Screen

projection screen from the available rear projection distance.

* Floor-standing rack with protective enclosure
* Custom protective mounting solution
The protective solution shall:
* Prevent accidental movement or misalignment
* Protect equipment from impact and tampering
* Allow adequate ventilation
* Permit service access
* Provide cable strain relief
* Support lockable access where practical
* Be suitable for a municipal/public facility environment
Vendor shall state the recommended projector lens height above the stage floor and
explain why the proposed height is appropriate.
The City prefers the projector to be mounted or protected in a manner that avoids floor-
level obstruction and reduces the likelihood of damage.
4.6 Audio Integration
Vendor shall connect the projection system to the existing gymnasium audio system.
Vendor shall:
* Inspect existing audio input options.
* Provide all required cabling, adapters, converters, wall plates, interfaces, or
DSP/audio routing components.
* Support audio from HDMI/video sources to the existing sound system.
* Provide a clean, reliable connection to the existing audio system.
* Avoid hum, buzz, ground loop issues, and mismatched audio levels.
* Clearly document the connection path.
Vendor shall identify any limitations in the existing audio system and any recommended
upgrades as alternates.

4.7 Video and Signal Connectivity

* A practical user connection point at or near the stage, control area, or other City-
approved location

If any proposed equipment connects to the City network, the following requirements
apply:
* Device must support changing default usernames and passwords.
* Default credentials must be changed before acceptance.
* Device firmware shall be updated to current stable release before handoff.
* Unused services shall be disabled where possible.
* Wireless features shall be disabled unless specifically approved by the City.
* Cloud-based remote access shall not be enabled without written City approval.
* Vendor remote access shall not be persistent unless separately approved.
* Network settings shall be documented.
* Device shall support static IP or DHCP reservation .
* Vendor shall provide MAC addresses and management port requirements.
The City reserves the right to place AV equipment on a segmented network or VLAN.

* Review and approval of final mounting locations
