Your firm is invited to submit a Bid under seal to the Owner for the new storage building at the Eastern U.P.
Intermediate School District in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. The Owner will receive Bids until 11:00 AM
eastern daylight time on September 11, 2026, at the EUP ISD, Attn: Deanna Mayer, 315 Armory Place, Sault
Ste. Marie, MI. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Description: Construction of a 45' x 30' storage building in Kincheloe, MI.
Construction Documents shall be available by contacting UPEA at (906) 635-0511 or jgagnon@upea.com.
Bidders may purchase documents from UPEA for a non-refundable handling fee of $25 for a hard copy or
free of charge for a pdf. Documents will also be available for viewing at the office of the Architect.
A non-mandatory Pre-bid Conference and visit to Project site has been arranged for Bidders at 10:00 AM
eastern daylight time, on September 2, 2026. The meeting will begin at 15901 Country Club Dr., Kincheloe,
MI 49788 and will include a tour of the site.
Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of a sum no less
than five (5) percent of the Bid Price.
Submit your Bid on the Bid Form provided.
The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part. The Owner reserves the
right to waive any informalities or irregularities in any or all bids and to make such award as it deems, in its
sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the Owner.
Your Bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after
submission.
