Description
Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of bilingual experiential forestry workforce training services from Boots on the Ground Forest Services LLC as a sole source due to the required compatibility with existing program design and the supplier being the single provider of the services. The selected supplier must meet minimum specifications including bilingual facilitation (English and Spanish), experience in community outreach and organizing, established trust with Latino and immigrant forestry workers, and expertise in experiential curriculum development. They must also have a combination of technical forestry experience, cultural competency, and operational capacity to deliver the training modules in alignment with the Oportunidades en el Bosque business course. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010, Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website.
