Project Description: The Spring Township Board of Supervisors will accept Proposals for the Spring Township Green Light-Go Traffic Signal Improvement Project Bids until 10:00 a.m., prevailing time, February 21, 2025. Bids will be submitted, and all project information will be accessed via PennBid.
The Work to be performed consists of improvements at six (6) signalized intersections on Penn Avenue between Morwood Avenue and Stevens Avenue. Improvements include vehicular and pedestrian signals, pedestrian crossing equipment and hardware, signal controller replacement, optical preemption installation, conduit and cable installation, minimal concrete replacement and similar work. Bidders are advised that Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry must be paid to all workers involved with this Contract. All Work must be completed by May 23, 2025.
A non-mandatory pre bid meeting will be held on February 6, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Spring Township administration building located at 2850 Windmill Road, Sinking Spring, PA 19608.
Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Proposal Security equaling ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal. Proposals shall be effective for forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of opening. The OWNER reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals or portions thereof. Certain portions of the project may be modified or eliminated due to budget limitations if necessary.
