Dear Contractors:

The RM of Beaver River No. 622 hereby invites tenders from qualified contractors to award a contract for the following:

Hauling and spreading of approximately 20,000 tonnes (+/-) of road gravel to complete 2026 municipal road maintenance program.

The 2026 gravel program will encompass 2 quarries with hauling/spreading volumes as described below:

RM Pit – N.E. 14-61-21-W3 (Approx. 3.5 miles South of Highway 55 on RR 3212):

Haul/Spread from Stockpile: Approx. 10,000 tonnes (+/-) (Hauler responsible for supplying personnel, equipment, and scale for all loading)

RM Pit – N.E. 21-61-25-W3 (Approx. 5 miles South of Pierceland on Highway 21 and 4 miles East on TWP 621 A):

Haul/Spread from Stockpile: Approx. 20,000 tonnes (+/-) (Hauler responsible for supplying personnel, equipment, and scale for all loading)

Please provide quotes based on the assumption that the RM of Beaver River No. 622 will supply personnel for gravel checking.

The Contractor must provide a Clearance Certificate from Saskatchewan Workers Compensation Board.

The Contractor must provide a Certificate of Insurance for two million dollars in liability insurance.

The Contractor shall furnish all labour and equipment to perform the work as specified herein. Bids must be based on legal road weights. Minimum of 6 trucks, the municipality reserves the right to stop daily hauling operation at such time(s) when 3 or less trucks are available.
