Description:

The City of Steamboat Springs, acting as the administrative agent for the Steamboat Springs Redevelopment Authority, seeks to contract with a qualified professional transportation engineer, software provider, mobility service operator or other firm(s) pursuant to this Request for Proposals to study the feasibility of consolidating private shuttles operating in Steamboat Springs’ resort base area into a single consolidated or coordinated service; and to develop a plan to test and implement such a system.

The work consists of transportation engineering and other disciplines of transit modeling and planning.   The work involves three phases that will document existing conditions and identify issues with the current distributed private shuttle system; will study the feasibility of alternative approaches to consolidation or coordinating a unified service; and will develop a plan for the launch, operation, and oversight of the new system.
