This is a Synopsis/Pre-Solicitation notice. The final solicitation package will follow.
This opportunity is only available to Small Businesses. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA) Construction Team has a requirement for the following:
The rehabilitation of the 6,000 sq ft, 9-bay Butler cold storage building at Brown’s Park National Wildlife Refuge aims to enhance the building’s functionality, energy efficiency, and safety. The project included the replacement and sealing of doors, installation of new lighting and ventilation systems, and various other improvements to ensure the building meets current standards.
This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. This will be a Firm Fixed Priced Contract and Award will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable.
The complete Solicitation will be posted to https://sam.gov/ under Contract Opportunities on or about March 11, 2025. Interested contractors must be registered in SAM (System for Award Management, www.sam.gov) and complete Online Representations and Certifications.
A pre-proposal site visit and instructions will also be announced with the solicitation.
The NAICS code is 236220 – Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the size standard is $45 million. The project magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000.
The work will commence within 10 days of Notice to Proceed and be completed by the agreed upon date at the time of award.
Bonding Requirements: 20% Bid Bond, 100% Payment Bond, 100% Performance Bond
