Block I Big Springs Openings- Schoolcraft County- Disking, Fertilizing and Seeding 1.        Total Acres =14 2.        Work must be completed between July 15th and September 10th, 2026 3.        Disking of openings may begin two weeks prior to the planting date 4.        Block I- Contract Activities, Equipment, Seed and Fertilizer Requirements: a.        Provide labor for lime, fertilizer and seed outlined below. b.        Remove all rocks and debris larger than 4 from opening. Debris includes, but is not limited to, downed trees, limbs, brush, stumps, and exposed rocks. c.        Disc the soil to a plant-able condition with no green patches and all herbaceous material broken and turned several times (if necessary) to form a 6 deep seedbed of mineral soil. d.        Apply DNR provided fertilizer(s) at the rates below e.        Disk fertilizer into soil prior to planting f.        Cultipack field after final disking and before seeding. g.        Apply DNR provided clover and rye seed at rates specified below. If using a broadcast seeder, the seedbed must be cultipacked after seeding. h.        Notify the Program Manager within 24-hours of completion to schedule field inspection. See attached Schedule A
