Municipal Virtual Net Metering (VNM) Offtake Solar Developer

The Town of Stratford (“Town”) seeks Proposals from qualified solar developers (the “Proposers”) to provide municipal Virtual Net Metering (“VNM”) offtake from a solar photovoltaic clean energy system or systems (“System/s”) in United Illuminating (“UI”) territory that will offset up to 5,300,000 kWh/year of the Town’s electrical load. The System(s) would participate in the August/September 2025 bid round of Year 4 of the Non-residential Renewable Energy Solutions program (the “NRES Program”), with VNM for State, Agricultural, and Municipal (“SAM”) properties, administered by UI, and if necessary, the February/March 2026 bid round of Year 5 of the NRES Program. ***DO NOT SUBMIT BIDS ELECTRONICALLY***
