Project Description: The purpose of this specification is to establish a sixty (60) month contract with two (2) one-year renewal options to provide a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) certified and approved designated aviation channeling service provider that will efficiently and reliably process Criminal History Record Checks (CHRCs), Security Threat Assessments (STAs) and applicant biographical information updates to the TSA in accordance with formatting and timeline standards outlined in 49 CFR Part 1542.209 (airport) (https://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/CFR-2010-title49-vol9/pdf/CFR-2010-title49-vol9-part1542.pdf) and Part 1544.229 (air carrier) (https://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/CFR-2010-title49-vol9/pdf/CFR-2010-title49-vol9-part1544.pdf) and Security Directive (SD) 1542-04-08 Series. (Available through the Homeland Security Information Network or through the Transportation Security Administration (TSA)).
